Savannah’s River Street – First Saturday on the River

Anytime is a great time to visit Savannah’s River Street with hundreds of distinctive shops and boutiques, taverns, and restaurants featuring an assortment of lowcountry cuisine, it’s the perfect spot to spend a day shopping and exploring. But the beginning of the month is an especially good time to find your way down to River Street.

The first weekend of each month between March and December, you’ll find First Saturday on the River taking place from 9am-6pm. Stroll along the beautiful cobble-stoned River Street while browsing the craftsmanship of artist and craftsmen who display and sell their unique works of art, be entertained by the street performers who roam through the crowds, and enjoy the sounds of musical performances taking place on stage. A day full of free fun and entertainment for everyone.
