Easter in Richmond Hill and Savannah, Ga is a time for families to get together, take amazing photos, and watch the children take part in the many activities and events that are available to ring in Spring. There are a variety of ways to celebrate Easter weekend, from egg hunts to brunch and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Richmond Hill
6th Annual Easter Extravaganza
This true celebration of Easter is hosted by New Beginnings Community Church and will be held in J.F. Gregory Park on April 7 at 11:00am. The Easter Extravaganza will have an egg hunt for children ages 10 and younger, featuring over 25,000 eggs to be found with treats inside! The egg hunt will be followed by a lunch of free hot dogs and drinks, as well as inflatable bounce rides, live entertainment, and of course, pictures with the Easter bunny. Your children will also enjoy face painting, games, and other entertainment.
Savannah
Pictures With the Easter Bunny
If you have little ones, pictures with the Easter Bunny is a family tradition for so many. Here are two places you can go in Savannah:
Savannah Mall
14045 Abercorn St., Savannah
The Easter Bunny will be at Target Court every day until Easter.
Oglethorpe Mall
7804 Abercorn Extension, Savannah
The Easter Bunny will be available for visits and photos through Saturday, April 7 during the following times:
â– Monday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm
â– Sunday: 12pm – 6pm
Also at the Oglethorpe Mall is a favorite FREE Savannah Easter tradition, the Chick Hatchery. Kids of all ages can watch the chicks and ducks emerge from their eggs and hold a newly hatched chick. The hatchery is open mall hours: 10 AM-8 PM.
Easter Bunny at Broughton St.’s First Saturday Events
319 West Broughton St
The Easter Bunny will be available in front of 24e Saturday morning, then at Marc Jacobs after lunch. Bring the kids on Saturday for a hopping good time and pictures with the Easter Bunny! Come by 24e from 11-1, Marc by Marc Jacobs from 1:30-3:30, and La Berry from 4-6 and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny for a donation of $5. All proceeds go the Savannah Downtown Business Association.
