We are lucky and happy to be a part of a school system that has not only won awards, but continues to expand and adjust for the best interests of the children.  In fact, in 2010, Richmond Hill Middle School became one of just 9 middle schools out of 429 across the state of Georgia to be recognized for its improvement on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test (CRCT).  The CRCT is a test designed to measure how well students acquire the skills and knowledge described in the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS).  This puts R.H.M.S. in the top 2% of schools in the state to receive this Platinum Award.  It also marks the third time in five years that the school was recognized for achievement by the governor’s office.

Bryan County Middle School was awarded a distinguished honor in 2010 for meeting annual yearly progress goals under the No Child Left Behind Act for three consecutive years.
